Imo State Governor, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma has commiserated with the Management and Staff of the Nation on the death of their Cartoonist, Azeez Ozi Oniya Sanni.
Award-winning Sanni died suddenly on Monday June 15, 2020 in Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital and had been buried according to Muslim rites.
Governor Uzodimma said Sanni’s death was shocking and a big loss to the Management and Staff of the Nation where he plied his trade creditably and won laurels.
The Governor particularly commiserated with the decease’s widow and children as well as those he left behind to mourn his passing and prayed God to grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.
Governor Uzodimma encouraged them to have solace in the fact that Sanni left a legacy that cannot be forgotten in a hurry.
