President of Performing Musicians Employers Association of Nigeria (PMAN), Mr. Pretty Okafor, has dismissed with a wave of the hand, an Ikeja High Court judgement presided over by Justice A. A Oyebanji, that restrained him from further defamation of Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON), President Chief Tony Okoroji, and awarded the sum of N2million in damages against him, describing it as a “hungry man/ jankara movement.
“From the award of the judgment, you will see that it’s a useless case. Hungry judgment that can’t hold ground because I was never served,” he continued. “The money he stole has finished that is why he cried to the judge to give judgment on a matter that the accused was not served and did not even appear…
“He should come and let me write him the Cheque…
Tony Okoroji is hungry now because he does not have musicians’ money to steal anymore.
“Hungry wan kill that your friend. Since he can not collect fraudulent money again so he wants to survive with the cheque that I will send to him. “Also put it there as heading that Tony Okoroji is so broke now and went to beg the judge to give judgment on a case that Pretty Okafor was not served on and which Pretty Okafor did not even appear .. anyway he should come and take the cheque before hungry will kill him since he cannot steal anymore money from musicians since COSON has been proscribed totally.”
