As part of efforts to nip the spread of the Corona virus pandemic in the bud, the Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma has ordered the immediate closure of all primary, secondary and tertiary institutions in the state.
He also announced plan to establish a Specialist Hospital for this disease. Governor Uzodimma who made a broadcast to the people of Imo State on measures to prevent and control the Corona virus disease (COVID-19), Friday stated that he is taking elaborate steps to ensure that the health and wellbeing of Imolites remain priority of his administration.
He stated: “As a responsible Government, we have done our home work and I can assure you that there is truly no cause for alarm. All the necessary measures have been put in place to ensure that the virus does not find a breeding space in Imo State. Be rest assured that we shall not leave
