Coronavirus: Sanbian Sci Tech rep pleads with China to assist Nigeria

The representative of Sanbian Transformers in Nigeria, Mr. Adebayo Ojo, has appealed to the Chinese government through the ambassador in Nigeria to urgently assist Nigerian people with technical expertise, testing equipments and materials to curb the spread of much dreaded Corona Virus in Nigeria.
In a letter to the Chinese ambassador to Nigeria, Dr. Zhou Pingjiang, Mr. Adebayo Ojo congratulated the Chinese government and her health workers, Scientists and law enforcement agents and other health care providers on their proactive actions in containing Covid-19 within reasonable time frame.
He pleaded with the ambassador saying; “In view of your recent, great and decisive actions in the war against Covid-19, l hereby plead with you to encourage your government to assist Nigeria urgently in sharing with our government various experiences garnered by your scientists and health workers in stemming the outbreak of this strange and new virus in your country.
Speaking further, Mr. Adebayo Ojo, the Chairman of Afrique Pioneer and the representatives of Sanbian Sci-Tech, the Chinese multinational manufacturers of Power equipments, Transformers and Sub-Stations said; “The negative impact of the Corona Virus transcends the health sector and has greatly affected the flow of businesses both at the national and transnational levels and also national economies around the world. It is only realistic that an emerging economy and the largest in Africa and by far your largest trading partner, gets robust assistance from China”.
“As the wave moves across the world, Nigeria and many African countries has some weeks of window to confront the pandemic virus war in the offensive. Therefore, Nigerian people needs technical assistance, equipments and materials like testing equipments, face-masks, ventilators and also doctors, nurses and other Chinese success experiences to combat and win the Virus war if it eventually breaks here”.
Furthermore, he reminded Dr. Zhou Pingijan of his well received remarks at the dialogue held by the Center for China Studies in Nigeria on the Theme of “Nigeria-China Cooperation in the Context of Health Emergency” on February 2nd 2020. Mr. Ojo quoted him as saying: “As the biggest developing country in the world, China highly value its strategic partnership with Nigeria, the biggest developing country in Africa. China remains committed to working with Nigeria…We are convinced that China and Nigeria can forge an even stronger relationship through win-win cooperation”.
