Sanusi’s removal sad, but good – Obasanjo

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has described as sad and underserved, the dethronement of former Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, as the Emir of Kano.
In a letter to the deposed Emir who have since been banished to Nasarawa State, the former head of state, however, noted that in spite of the deposition,the dethroned monarch has paid the price for his position on issues and prayed God to give him the fortitude and courage,”to continue on the path that you have chosen for yourself in the best interest of our country and humanity”.
