Mrs. Ugbechie, a mother of two, started experiencing strange feelings in her body, late last year before she was later diagnosed of breast cancer.

Speaking to Ubulu Ezemu in her hospital bed at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, (LUTH) Idiaraba in Lagos, where she is being treated, Ugbechie said ” I am Mrs, Obiageli Chikelue Ugbechie; a daughter of  the late Mr. Emmanuel Okolie Chikelue of Udo village, Ubulu Uku in Aniocha South LGA of Delta State. It was late last year I was diagnosed of breast cancer”.

In the past one year, the patient has been attending LUTH for treatment and she has been undergoing various forms of treatments but the ailment persisted.

The urgent matter is that Ugbechie needs her breast operatedon, which is expected to cost her N2million, an amount that she must raise in a matter of few weeks from now.

The patient cannot afford the bill and her husband has been running Heller Skelter since the illness started. This made him to exhaust all he had over the years. .

“We have been devastated but we are hopeful that God will spare my life”, Ugbechie added.

Her immediate family members have assisted, as much as they could, she being the only girl child and the last in the family.

Ugbechie therefore, appeals to kind-hearted people to come to her rescue in the name of God. Already, she lost her parents early in life, several years ago.
