Eleven years after his death, Nigeria’s music great, Late Sonny Okosuns finally gets a memorial. The creator of Ozzidism, The Message music, was one of Nigeria’s music superstars until his death from colon cancer in 2008. Okosuns’ music catalogue is rich with monumental hits, recorded and performed throughout his lifetime. His music is still a favorite staple in Nigeria’s music scene.

On October 25th, other Nigeria’s music legends, icons and contemporary superstars will gather in Washington DC for an all night mega concert in memory of Ozziddi superstar.The event is a baby of Okosun’s younger brother, Dj Easy Okosun.
