Ogun State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has embargoed all local government accounts in the state.
According to newdawn sources,an indication to this was contained in a memo dispatched to the Heads of Administration in the Local Government and Development Authorities to that effect by noon.
According to the platform of one of the councils, ” I am directed by the Permanent Secretary to inform you that His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR, the Gov of Ogun State, has placed an embargo on all the Bank Accounts of all Local Govts & LCDAs with effect from today, Thurs, 30th May, 2019.
“Equally, there should be no cash payments”
