Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa has promised completion of Ogwashi-Uku-Ubulu-Uno road project in Aniocha South Local Government Area.
It was learnt that the Governor who happened to be attending a burial ceremony recently in Ubulu-Uno, made the promise during a church service.
His convoy, however did not stop for on-the-spot assessment, reason being that it was not scheduled to be an inspection tour.
The pace of work by the contractor has been a source of concern to residents of the area, with many wondering when the project would be finally completed.
During the service, Governor Okowa thanked the people for their support and assured them of his administration’s resolve to take development to the grassroots in line with his S.M.A.R.T. agenda.
