The Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has approved the appointment and Installation of Oba Saburee Babajide Bakre of Egiri Rulling House, as the new Agura of Gbagura, in Abeokuta North Local Government Area of the State.
A release issued and signed by the State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Chief Jide Ojuko, indicated that the new appointment was in accordance with Section 23 (1) of the Chiefs Law of Ogun State, Nigeria, following the demise of Oba Adedayo Olaloko of the Jiboso Ruling House, who joined his ancestors on the 13th of July, 2018.
According to the release, the Official Installation and Presentation of Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment by the Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun will hold tomorrow, Tuesday 21st May, 2019 at the Agura’s Palace, Oke-Ido, Abeokuta, by 10:00am.
