Update on Ipokia!
Violence has erupted in Ipokia over the renovation of the Obas palace.
Newdawn sources revealed that the violence broke out when agents of the preferred candidate for the stool when Yisa Olaniyan, a US based candidate attempted to renovate the Ipebi center.
The town people our reporter gathered, went out en-masse with traditional charms and destroyed all materials, chasing away the workers.
As at the time of filling this report the workers are yet to gain access to the palace.
It will be recalled that crisis erupted in the ancient town yesterday over the selection of a new Oba by the kingmakers.
