The rocky city of Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, today Saturday April 14, 2019, welcomes a brand new frequency modulated (FM) station.
Owned by Mr. Kunle Onime the owner of MPC, an experiential marketing outfit that is currently celebrating its 20 years of existence with the distribution of wheelchairs to the physically challenged.
The new station operates on 97.1 dial or frequency and plans to carve its niche by playing mostly reggae music- hence its name, Roots.
Reacting to the milestone, Onime said”We are testing now.
We will officially be on air in the next couple of weeks.
Then we can talk fully.”
