After suffering a crushing defeat in the hands of All Progressives Congress (APC), candidates, some commissioners in the cabinet of Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, are alleged to have secretly resumed office.
About three of them are said to have been seen at their desks directing affairs.
They mentioned Dayo Adeneye (D1), as one of those that have returned.

Adeneye had resigned to contest as a legislator for the state house of assembly to represent one of the constituencies in the Ijebu area, the same Senatorial District where Buruji Kashamu and Adebutu, son of Keshington Adebutu (Baba Ijebu) hail from.
Adeneye is said to been back to supervise the yearly Ogun State sponsored Drum Festival, which many have described as a drain pipe.
According to our source who is one of the Ogun State governor’s media aid, ” they are back to their desks. About three of them that resigned to contest election. Maybe, that was why the governor never replaced them. D1 is even coordinating activities towards the coming Drum Festival. It is sad and pathetic,” the aid said
” they have become the butt of everybody’s joke in the secretariat. Anywhere you see one or two people gathered, they are the subject of their gossip.”
