The Governor of Kano state, Abdullahi Ganduje has decided to go after Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido over alleged support for Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship candidate, Abba Yusuf.
Our correspondent gathered that Immediately after Ganduje was declared as the winner of the Governorship rerun election in Kano, supporters of Governor Ganduje stormed Government house
Ganduje’s Supporters Remove Sanusi’s Portrait from Government House and was hailing someone climbing lander to remove emir portrait from Government House.
Ganduje’s loyalist accused the former Central Bank Governor of supporting the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Governorship candidate in the just concluded rerun election.

Sanusi was installed as Emir of Kano while Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso was the governor of Kano state.
Abba Yusuf is the anointed candidate of Kwankwaso for the Governorship rerun election.
It was gathered if the development is not properly managed the Emir of Kano might lost his throne.
This is not the first time Sanusi’s throne will be threatened by the Kano state government under the administration of Ganduje.
It could be recalled that Kano State of Assembly and Kano Anti corruption Commission probe Emir of Kano for corruption allegation.
While Kano state, anti corruption Commission alleged misappropriations of N6billion of the Kano Emirate Council by Sanusi.
The State Assembly accused the Emir of Kano of spending funds without the approval of the Governor of Kano, Umar Ganduje, attacking President Muhammadu Buhari’s polices and sending his daughter to represent him without wearing full traditional regalia.
