Prince Bayo Osiyemi, the former Chief Press Secretary(CPS) to the first civilian Governor of Lagos State, Alhaji Lateef Kayode Jakande has said that the administration of the newly elected Governor Babajide Sanwoolu would be transparent, all embracing and highly developmental than past administrations in the State.
The former old Mushin Local Government Chairman who was speaking as a guest on Lagos Television’s yoruba programme, ‘Owuro Lawa’, based his point on the personal interactions he had with the Governor-Elect as the Director of the Directorate for Chieftaincy and Traditional matters in the Sanwoolu Independent Campaign Group(ICG), revealing that he is someone with listening ear,apart from being adequately competent.
Prince Osiyemi who was speaking on the topic, ‘Politics in the past, today and future’, stated that politics of today had become dynamic, but could not be compared with politics of intergrity in the past where the electorate had functional role in ensuring good governance.
He expressed his satisfaction that unlike in the past,divided of democracy is now being felt and directly enjoyed at the grassroots.
Prince Osiyemi further assured Lagosians that Babajide Sanwoolu and his Deputy, Obafemi Hamzat would spring positive surprises in the governance of Lagos immediately they are sworn-in.
