Facts emerged that Presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar ,will loose Presidential election in North East of the country.
North East is the geopolitical zone of the Former Vice President.
But, investigation by our correspondent revealed that Atiku is not well accepted by the people of the zone due to his failure to bring development to the region which is ravaged by the insurgent.
As present, out of six states in the region, four states are controlled by the All Progressive Congress (APC) which put the former vice President on disadvantage side.
Investigation further revealed people of the region are bitter with Atiku because there is nothing on ground to point to that Atiku used his influence as former vice President to bring to the region apart from personal businesses he built after living office.
Atiku is the owner of Atiku Abubakar American University (ABTI), Yola which he established when he was Vice President and Faro Table water.
It was gathered that people in the region have decided to vote President Muhammadu Buhari because of what he has been doing in the region like construction of major roads that have been abandoned by previous government.
Also, Establishment of Norh East Development Commission (NEDC) is also made the people of the region to be happy with Buhari.

Our correspondent further gathered average people on the street do want to hear his name a development that forced the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in Gombe, Usman Bayero Nafada to openly endorsed Buhari re-election bid by displaying ‘four plus four’.
Nafada was a member of APC before he joined PDP to secure governorship ticket of the party in the state.
As at the time of filing this report several political bigwigs in the region have joined APC like, former PDP Deputy National Chairman ( North), Babayo Gamawa, former governor of Bauchi and also former PDP Chairman, Adamu Mu’azu, former governor of Bauchi state, Isa Yuguda and former Senator from Gombe state, Saidu Umar and many governorship aspirants from PDP in the region.
