There was rowdy session in the Senate over the sitting arrangement in Red Chamber as Senator Godswill Akpabio accused Senate President, Bukola Saraki of preventing him from speaking .
The crisis started in the floor when Senator Basset Akpan raised point of order on the recent primaries election in Akwa-Ibom state which led to burning of Police state.
Akpan accused the APC in the state of planning to cause mayhem which will lead to cancellation of Governorship election in the state and postpone to another time so that the ruling party will be able to use federal might to win the state.
But, attempt by Senator Akpabio to counter the allegation was allegedly blocked by the Senate President.
Our correspondent observed that Akpabio sought to respond to the allegation using the microphone of Ali Ndume, to speak on the matter , But Saraki asked Akpabio to move to another seat where there microphone is functioning a development which threw the senate plenary into rowdy session.
The Senate session was put on hold for few minutes as Senators engaged in exchange of words.
