The All Progressives Congress (APC), Presidential primary in Ogun State was peacefully conducted as members of the party trooped out to give their support for the candidature of President Muhammadu Buhari.
No news of any violence was heard across the state as most Wards had just an affirmation exercise.
Former Governor, Chief Olusegun Osoba, serving and former members of the National Assembly members were all part of the exercise which was done in all the 236 Wards in the State.

Speaking during the exercise, Chief Osoba described it as peaceful and orderly saying that he had come to preach unity to all members who he said should embrace peace and forget all differences that they might have had in the past.

“My message is simple. We must learn serious lessons from Osun. We must not be disunited. We must into all races as one family. And whoever emerges must become our official candidate, irrespective of the position or age.
“We must accept whoever emerges as flag bearer at all levels. Not only for Governorship, but also Senatorial , House of Representatives and the House of Assembly.
