Code of conduct for 2018 Osun State gubernatorial election of 22nd September, 2018
1. Polling stations open at 8.00am
2. Only persons with Permanent Voters Card (PVC) are eligible to vote
3. Persons without PVC should stay clear of polling stations
4. Be peaceful and orderly at polling stations on election day
5. No campaign or party logo, emblem or insignia allowed at polling stations on election day
6. It’s illegal to take photographs of thumb printed ballot paper because of the crime of vote buying
7. Your phones camera or cameras are only disallowed from being used to photograph ballot paper as a measure against vote buying.
8. Cast your vote for the candidate of your choice based on character, integrity and performance
9. Your vote is about your future and generations unborn for four years, don’t sell it at all
10. Don’t mortgage your future by buying and selling votes, it’s inhuman and a criminal offence punishable by law
11. Be guided by the general good of Osun State by maintaining the peace before, during and after the elections.
12. Vote, don’t fight
13. Don’t be an instrument of violence.
14. Be an agent of peace and orderliness
15. Your vote is your power, use it wisely
