Some members of the ruling party, All Progressive Congress (APC ), dissenters who are dissatisfied with NEC decision on mode of primaries in closed door meeting at Barcelona Hotel in Abuja.
The meeting is made up of state chairmen of the party who are against direction primaries in APC
Chairmen of All Progressive Congress (APC) across the country stormed Abuja in defiance to National Working Committee (NWC) on mode of Primaries to be adopted by the party.
APC insisted on adopting direct primaries for all elective positions.
But, Governors in defiance with the position of the NWC insisted on indirect primaries, a development that set the NWC on war part with some governors.
It was gathered that chairmen across the country met in an hotel in Abuja today and they were silent on the outcome of the meeting.
The NWC had threatened any member of the party that tries to send the party on war part in a statement issued by National Publicity Secretary.
