….Seal off Gani Fawehinmi Park
Police in Lagos today sealed off the venue of the rally organised by the Yoruba World Congress,(YWC) in support of Operation Amotekun, the security outfit set up by the governors of South West states to secure the region from menace of banditry, kidnapping and other criminal activities.
As early as 8am people especially women in Amotekun dress have started arriving the Gani Fawehinmi park venue near Ojota but were prevented by men of the police.
However, men of Nigeria Police have barricaded the Gani Fawehinmi Park where the event is to hold, thereby preventing entrance into the park.
The rally is organised by Yoruba World Congress (YWC).
