LP wants audit of road construction in Ogun State

The Ogun state chapter of Labour Party has asked Ogun state government to make public full information about roads construction in the state between May 30th, 2011 and May 29th, 2019 from the immediate past governor of Ogun State .

This was contained in a letter addressed to the Ogun State Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure and signed by the Labour Party Chairman, Comrade Abayomi Arabambi.

Arabambi said the request was made in pursuant to section 1 (1), (2), (3) and other relevance section of the Freedom of Information Act 2011.

He added that, the information with respect to the award of contract awarded between May 30th, 2011and May 29th, 2019, should include; Names of the Contractor, Certificate of Registration with CAC, Certificate of incorporation and House of Assembly approval.

The roads under investigation according to the party are; Moshood Abiola way, Sagamu-Abeokuta 10 lane road, Enugada-Adatan road, Itoku Ajitadidun -Iberekodo road, Ake-Itoko-Mokola road, Otada-Mowe-Ibafo, Sango-Ojodu road, Ilo-Awela, Ota road, and Alagbe-ijoun-Egua-Ilashe road.

Others are; Atan-Agbara, panseke-Adigbe(saraki junction) Alowonle road Abeokuta, Iju-Ilogbo road, Ota Juction Road,, OGTV to Brewery junction road, Abeokuta , Moshood Abiola way, Abeokuta, Ilara -Ijoun -Ilesha, Yewa, Ilishan-Ago- iwoye road, Ijebu, Mowe-Ofada-Ibafo road, Odeda, Lanfewa-Ayetoro Rounda road, Ejirin-Oluwalogbon junction, Ijebu-Ode, Magboro-Underpass road, Abeokuta, Moriamo-olorombo road, Abeokuta, Ojere-Adatan roundabout, Abeokuta, Somorin-Ajebo road, Abeokuta, Abiola-way junction to Muda Lawal stadium junction Abeokuta.
