Men of the Lagos Public Works Department sweating it out as they fix the Toyin Bus Stop in the border area with Ogun State. Indeed the popular saying that you feel the presence of governance when you step into Lagos territory is an acceptable norm.
However, the moment you leave Lagos, and step into Ogun State one enters into roads known more for the craters and traffic gridlock, now a common sight in the Lagos/Ogun border area.
Somebody up there should tell Governor Dapo Abiodun to end the bad narrative about border areas of Ogun State, which has never known good infrastructure in the past 17 years.
He should also move in with the men of his newly christened, Public Works Agency and do the needful. Border areas are not for vote harvesting alone but for development.
