Chairman, MTN Foundation, Prince Julius Adelusi-Adeluyi and Chief Operating Officer, MTN Nigeria, Mazen Mroue, led the team to the Love Orphanage home and the bounce in their steps told you everything about what was going to happen – lives were about to change!

Hephzibah Itimi, the manager of the orphanage gave us a very warm welcome and a tour of the home. That was when we found out that ALL the children in the orphanage were in private schools in Lagos!

How could they afford that? She explained that the orphanage believed that the children deserved the best and strived to ensure this was achieved in all aspects.

After the tour, we got down to business as various food and household items were handed over to the managers of the home. “I have to thank MTN Foundation, that somebody as small as we are could be noticed by a company as big as MTN?! We are grateful.”, Itimi explained after the gifts were handed over.
