Doyen of moviedom, Kosoko, in Power Of 1

This is the picture of Jide Kososko that you will be seeing in Izu Ojukwu’s latest movie, Power of 1 that stars other top actors and actresses God has blessed Nigeria with.

Kosoko is a known name in Nigeria’s movie industry known as Nollywood. He is a cross breed; one of those thespians who started from what was in vogue in the days of yore, moving theatre, to the stage. From stage and now video films and still waxing strong.

Also the veteran actor is one of those that can be seen in Yoruba language flicks just as he is sought after by the English language movie producers.

That he is playing a prominent role in Ojukwu’s latest offering to moviedom is not surprising.

Ojukwu on his part, is an award winning flicks producer whose past efforts in the industry includes Sitanda, White Waters, Remember Me

And to make the movie a household name, the young man has embarked on a road show, which started last Friday at Kings College, Lagos.

The “Power of 1 is a social re-engineering campaign with the aim of sparking up and sustaining vital person-to-performance engagement that delivers tangible reasons to belief and affirmative action.

“Part of the vehicles for driving the ‘Power of 1’ movement include workshops, roadshows (spoken word poetry, community development challenge, etc.) and the block buster of the same title, directed by Izu Ojukwu starring Ramsey Nouah, Alex Ekubo, Annie Idibia, Jibola Dabo, Jide Kosoko, Racheal Oniga, Michelle Dede, Padita Agu and many more.

“The ‘Power of 1’ movie will be available in cinemas nationwide from the 7th of December 2018.

“With support from the 2Baba Foundation, One Voice Nigeria, Enough is Enough, Vote Not Fight, the campaign seeks to promote the belief that one person’s affirmative action can deliver positive outcomes and challenge young Nigerians to embrace the responsibility of fixing Nigeria one challenge at a time,” a statement from Ojukwu’s publicists said.
